Miel Muria collaborates in the project “Education can change history” – NASCO Foundation Feeding Minds

The Muria Honey Company (www.mielmuria.com) has collaborated in the project “Education can change history” of the African Republic of Ghana NASCO foundation Feeding Minds.

NASCO Feeding Minds is dedicated to creating opportunities for Ghana’s younger generation by providing them with digital education through tools and knowledge that will enable them to develop their talents and access the information needed to create opportunities and decide their future.

The project “Education can change history” has 5 established classrooms in Ghana where more than 12 schools have access, they have provided more than 11,000 trainings for students in 6 years and has created a honey cooperative that already helps 24 families to guarantee income for the education of their children.

Muria Honey has collaborated with the project by providing tools and beekeeper’s clothing for the women of Ghana, since they are the ones who take care of the honeycombs to generate income and thus be able to guarantee the education of the little ones.

Tuesdays are special for NASCO Feeding Minds. In Ghana it doesn’t matter the date you were born, but the day of the week you were born. Ousman Umar, the founder of the NGO, knows little about his childhood, even his age. What he does know is that he was born on a Tuesday.

Muria Honey is also collaborating in the Ousman’s Solidarity Tuesday, next Tuesday 19th February at 19:30 in the old Estrella Damm factory (C/. Rosselló, 515, Barcelona).

A night of solidarity with performances, draws and many surprises

The event will be attended by Ousman Umar and an exceptional master of ceremonies: Bruno Oro. The party will be entertained by Delafé, who will play his best selection of music, and by the musician Carlos Cros. The magician Pau Borrell will provide the rest of the magic.

During the event there will be a draw for a Brompton tuned by Ousman himself, some Puma football boots by Luis Suárez, an HP laptop, a printer and an HP Sprocket portable printer, a Magnum Gran Coronas and a Magnum Milmanda by Torres, a set of Muria Honey products and two Bee-Winner Air treatments. All profits will go to NASCO Feeding Minds.
